CCIE SECURITY LAB BOOTCAMP in India

CCIE Security is one of the most prestigious certifications in the IT networking sector and hence it is essential that you focus on this course from Uninet and get the certification. There are several things that you will have to maintain as prerequisite here and once that is clear for you, you can go through the course and go for the certification. The certification level is having two tests – one written test and also one lab test. All the related norms have been narrated below for your reference.

PREREQUISITES

There are three things that you will need to appear in this course –

  • Knowledge of CCNP
  • 3-4 years of job experience in the networking field, at least as a technician.
  • Network security product handling experience

The course is not at all for the fresher candidates and hence the course has to be covered by those who are already network engineers and security engineers.

CERTIFICATION EXAMS

  • 1ST STEP – WRITTEN TEST (TEST CODE – 400-251)
    The total duration of the test is of 2 hours and within this time, you will have to face 90-110 questions. All the questions are based on the security levels, networking details, it's application, and troubleshooting.
  • 2ND STEP – LAB TESTING
    This test is applicable within 18 months of clearing the written exam. The total time of the exam is of 8 hours, where the total time set is divided into three halves. The first half is of 2 hours and that is based on troubleshooting. The next session is of 1 hour and here you will have to deal with diagnostics of the network and the third half is of 5 hours and here you will have show your expertise of configuring the network to pass the exam. The test has to be covered within 3 years of passing the written test, otherwise would have to reappear in the written test again.
